Privacy Hosting Terms

These Privacy Hosting Terms ("Privacy Terms") supplement our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. They apply when you register for or use an anonymous privacy hosting account with Claudpod Web Services.

1. Eligibility and lawful use

Privacy hosting is for lawful projects only. You may not use it for fraud, spam, phishing, malware distribution, or any activity that violates applicable law or our acceptable use policy.

2. Synthetic billing identity

We assign a generated United States billing profile from our identity pool for invoices and checkout. Your real email address is retained for account access, receipts, and support.

3. Authentication

You sign in with your email address and a private access code — not a traditional password.
You are responsible for keeping your access code confidential.
Password login, Google OAuth, and two-factor authentication are not available on privacy accounts.

4. Currency

Privacy accounts bill in USD only. If you convert from a standard account with NGN credit, balances are converted at the current FX rate shown in settings.

5. Privatemail email

Bundled Privatemail is included with privacy hosting plans. cPanel email is disabled on these accounts. Mailbox quotas follow your plan specifications.

6. Domains and WHOIS

Domain registrations still require accurate registrant contact details at the registry. Privacy hosting does not automatically change existing WHOIS records.

7. Team members

Team invitations are not supported on privacy accounts. Only the account owner may access the client area.

8. Irreversibility

Converting a standard account to privacy hosting cannot be reversed in the current version of the platform.

9. Service scope

Privacy hosting covers shared hosting plans in the privacy catalog. Reseller, VPS, and other product types are out of scope unless explicitly offered.

10. General terms

Our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy continue to apply. Where they conflict with these Privacy Terms on privacy-specific matters, these Privacy Terms control.
